Joey Logano topped the launchonster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice session from Las Vegas Motor Speedway ahead of Sundays South Point 400 (3 p.m. ET more or less NBCSN/NBC Sports App, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). The Las Vegas race is the first of the 10-race postseason for the sports peak series.

McLeod (late to inspection) all served 15-minute holds as skillfully.
The No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota team of Daniel Suarez and the No. 78 Furniture Row Racing Toyota team of Martin Truex Jr. each served 30-minute practice holds due to failing pre-race inspection three or more period at Indianapolis.
